Wednesday evening, we gave Jena an early Christmas present. She first pulled out some winter hats and gloves and then the note that told her that we were going to Branson for an early Christmas present.
So we packed up Wednesday night and Thursday after finishing four of our apartment inspections, we headed from Prairie Grove up to Branson, Missouri. The Clarksville young adults had told us that we didn't want to miss the lights at Silver Dollar City at Christmas time. Since this was our only Christmas here, we decided to follow their advice and go. It is about 2 hours from Prairie Grove so we got there about 3:30...which gave us some time to unpack, take a nap, dinner, and then head to the Haygood Christmas Show.

It was a fun show including an indoor drone display of flashing lights and patterns in the "sky" It was fun because they talked about the reason for the season--the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
And that was just the beginning of it!
