Plans Made..Life Happened!

I think that is what should be on my gravestone when I die.  I think it sums up most of my life.  When we originally picked this date in October for our Israel trip, we were planning on being done with our mission and having a few weeks "free" to get ready, to study, and to prepare!

Well, none of those things happened, but other things did so here we were four days before our trip and just getting back to the Church History Library after being gone for five days.

Fortunately, we have great assistants who have taken care of meetings, devotionals, and other details of Collections Zone life.  We did have access to emails and texting and had a few things that we needed to take care of while we were gone but all in all, things went well.

So, four days of mission, laundry, cleaning, and packing.............and then we headed to the airport with Sister Dixon as our taxi driver for the next adventure of our adventurous life!

(added for the print copy of the blog:  Israel trip is in Part Four of 2022)
