And More Birthdays!!!

No matter how significant your personal tragedies or what your mood is or if you are prepared or not, the calendar marches forward--that meant that the Friday (two days after my dad passed away) was Gary's birthday and the next day was Jena's---so despite my personal desire to maybe hang out at home for a bit longer--we let the celebrations begin--

Two different groups had made plans to surprise Jena on Friday--

10:00 am-- Cookies in the Winter Quarters Room   (some missionaries in our zone)

The team waiting for Jena and Gary

Happy Birthdays singing for both of them

Complete with Balloons
(one still floats around our apartment on November 5)

and 11:30 in the Nauvoo room--pizza and cake  (no photos as I had to head to Provo to take Ben to another doctor's appointment about his liver/colon issues.)

My views on the way to get Ben--

FanEX at the Salt Palace--there are some serious costumes in this sample walking across the street.  People were everywhere---
From the hill at the State Hospital, you can look over and see the BYU campus on the horizon. I love BYU!!

In addition to those parties, we got several cards and candy gifts for both Gary and Jena.  It is fun to see people love the people you love!

Chocolates..

Bringing everything from the day home

Happy Birthday, Gary and Jena! Glad to get another year older with you.

And we still had two more "celebrations" to go!!
