Wednesday Night Travels

Two of our service missionaries have been serving from Canada for the past two years so we have never met them in person.  They are dual citizens but have been in Canada since before Covid due to the lock down and also for medical care.

They finally traveled down to their South Jordan condo last week so we headed down Wednesday evening to take them their new security badges and parking passes.

But first on the way down I-215, we saw the Taylorville Temple under construction.  It has been a very long time since we traveled down this road so it was a shock to see it right next to the freeway and so far along.  What a blessed time we live in as temples are getting closer and closer to members of the Church.

A repairman who arrived during our visit took this photo of all of us.  Sister Kathy Jarvis and Elder George Jarvis serve in the Europe/Middle East/Africa area of our zone.
Elder and Sister Jarvis are dressed up to attend a wedding reception
not because we came to visit them!

No picture, but as I figured out where the Jarvises lived, I realized that they were very close to our friends, Vicki and Kent Fox.  It actually was .8 of a mile from their house.  I messaged her and asked if they were still in the same house and if they wanted a visit.  They said yes to both questions and we had a sweet visit.  My life has been filled with some of the best people.  Vicki served as my counselor in our West Jordan Ward.  They also made a few trips down the Green River with us and attended lots of parties together!!  We love them.
