Also on August 24, we got an official email changing our mission call to the online MTC and online mission training, still to start on October 26. We were expecting the news and are happy to know what the actual plans would be as we were about 60 days out at that time.
We spoke to our mission later in the week to get some clarification about our actual schedule as we serve from home. The MTC online will be three hours a day. Mission training will happen the following week and be generally from 8-3 pm. At the end of that week, we will be assigned to our zone and they told us it will be about 30-40 hours a week of "projects" on the computer depending on where we are assigned to serve as missionaries within the mission. It is generally flexible on the hours except for zone and mission meetings which can occur weekly or monthly depending on your assignment.
We will be invited to move down to Salt Lake when things are opened up down there or sooner "if we have any special talents which are needed sooner."
