Entering Ft. Smith----

On most streets entering into Ft. Smith, you will see a row of signs welcoming you to Ft. Smith and providing other information about the city.  That is true on the road we take as we drive into the city.

Sister City to Nago-Torbole, Italy   (they like Italy)

We are a Purple Heart City  AND  one of the top 100 Mid-Cities in America....On other streets more to the north entering the city, you will see that Ft. Smith is also on the Butterfield Stagecoach Trail and the Trail of Tears...and perhaps even the Civil War, but that might be more north...

Nice to learn a bit about a city as you entered into it.  We will miss Ft. Smith when we leave.  That is a good thing....it shows we made a home here.
