Jena's mission

I forgot to post this before I left so here it is out of order.  This happened in April.

In addition to her regular mission service, Jena was able to attend Mission Conference this week. This was the first one for their new Farmington UT mission.  They held it in the Rock Church in Farmington where the first Primary was held.  This picture of the missionaries was taken in front of a mural in that building representing that first Primary.

They had a full program.  They learned the history of the Primary, they learned some life skills in small classes, and they talked about the attributes of Christ.  Jena came up with a cake mix which she got from one of the life skills classes.

It was extra special because Jena's good friend Meggan Sparrow was also there.  Although she didn't receive her formal call until the next day, the mission president had invited her to join them.  Meggan is the third sister from the left.  For the next year they will be able to serve together.  How fun is that!
