While it is hard to see missionaries leave, it is great to get to know the new missionaries as well. Each transfer has its own flavor and we love them all.
We had MLC Review with the whole zone on last Monday so we got some photos of us together. Gary likes to sneak in the back in-between people--he SAYS he can see the camera, but we can barely see him in the photography--silly boy!

On Wednesday's P-day, we headed down to watch them at D-Bat where they practiced some hitting and pitching as well as some volleyball. Then we headed to a nearby field and cheered them while they played Ultimate Frisbee.....no injuries so that is always a win for P-day. Unusual that all of the missionaries in the zone were in town for P=day--that rarely happens, but some of the more distant companionships had splits with the zone leaders or district leaders on the day before or after so they were able to stay over night and have P-day with the other missionaries. We are missing two elders in the picture below as they took a small hike during the Ultimate Frisbee Game.
She got to take a turn hitting the softball in the batting cages (tagged two of them) and then was on one of the Ultimate Frisbee teams. She loved it!
D-Bat has the computer generated ballparks which you can watch while the batter is hitting the pitches. Elder Baggiore, who is serious about baseball, chose the BYU field today.
While volleyball was going on in the next court over....
Jena up to bat in the softball area.....
Off to Ben Garen Park...
Beautiful day for a game, a bit windy, but the temps were in the lower 70s.One funny moment from the day: Missionaries have to "back up" their companions whenever they are backing up their car. That is the most common type of accident so it is one of the mission rules--I think for everywhere and the missionaries are very good at doing it. As we left the D-Bat building, I saw two of the missionaries preparing to back up their companions so I decided to take a picture to share with the Rodebacks, who are the senior missionaries in the mission over the cars. I thought they would like to see how "good" they are doing. At the exact moment I took the picture, they both saw me and waved...while their companions continued to backup. Needless to say, I didn't send this picture to the Rodebacks!
Love these dedicated and sweet missionaries!!!
