Happy Halloween 2022

Posing for pictures is a bit of a challenge, but fun times ahead as we headed trick-n-treating with the grandkids in our neighborhood in Syracuse......

Of course, as the grandkids can tell you, we did more TALKING and not so much tricking or treating as we caught up with the news from many of our friends up and down the streets.  It reminded me how much I miss these sweet people.  It will be great when we are back in our neighborhood again to stay.....

Leaving us behind while we chat with our old neighbors.  We kept running to catch up with them.

We pulled our our Hawaiian shirts for the holiday!

Many of our neighbors have amazing displays for Halloween in their yards.  I am not sure where they store all of this stuff between Halloweens?

After dropping off the grandkids, we noticed that the Pessettos had gotten home.  Gary suggested that we stopped because he knew I was disappointed that they weren't home during the trick n treating swing through the neighborhood.  I thought it was maybe late to stop in, but he insisted.  Turned out to be an inspired move on his part.  We didn't know but Michelle was scheduled for some major surgery the next morning and they were hesitate to ask someone to come over and help Craig give her a blessing on Halloween.  Gary was able to assist and we had a sweet moment together--not only as friends who love each other but also with the Holy Ghost as the blessing was given.  Sometimes you are blessed to know that you are at the right place at the right time.

Happy Halloween!
