Hall Reunion- Tuesday

As you can imagine, we slept in until about 9 and then had a late breakfast.

A note Jena left us when we were gone to the ER

Cousins hugs--our oldest and our youngest grandkids!
We made chocolate chip cookies together---

Isn't the diner area cute!

It was another beautiful, cold day so we headed out for another hike!

posing at the fence

Liam and his big stick
The zipline was a favorite....

even for the adults....not me!

Ava

After our "family photo" session, some tired kids......wearing their new hats.  More about that on the next post.
We had our early Thanksgiving Dinner on Tuesday evening.  Ben asked if he could help cook which was great.
Food and family.........

Alex
Tuesday's game was charades which was awesome.

The kids got into the spirit of it

Grandpa helped them when they needed some ideas---

We didn't get a photo, but one of the highlights was when Scarlett, James, and Niki (I think) worked together to do a charade.  They sat side by side all curled up.  We guessed so many things and they started laughing so much.  Scarlett started giving us clues and we finally got it when she said, "You recycle these."  Cans!  They were posing as cans--no wonder we didn't get it.  That made us laugh so hard.  Kids are great!

Ava turned four on Thanksgiving day this year, so we had an early birthday party for her with cupcakes and singing happy birthday.  It was her first birthday to celebrate with her cousins.

A long day for Ezri

I think Tosha wrote the message
and then Jena added "sweeet"
Here are the hammocks set up at night.  They tried to sleep in them but I don't know if anyone actually made it through the night in them.

Another cute moment from the day was Scarlett and Niki and their "note" project.  We found them at the dining room table with some strips of paper cut up in small shapes and they were writing on them. They had messages like "No," "Yes," "I wish they would stop talking." "Stop TALKING!" and other such statements.  They reported that the "little" kids kept them up last night when they wanted to sleep (?) and they decided to make these notes so they could "talk" to each other without the little kids knowing what they were saying...and so they won't get in trouble with their parents for talking.  I wanted to take a picture, but they didn't want me to.  That night, they took their notes and passed them back and forth to each other for awhile.  How clever is that!  I hope that Niki and Scarlett will always remembering passing those notes back and forth to each other.  That is why we have reunions!

Another day in the books.....
