A "Game Break"

We had made plans a fews weeks prior to head up to Nordic Valley and play games with Vonette and Gary on Saturday, November 9.  On Friday, while at the family dinner after the funeral, Vonette commented that perhaps we might be too tired to play games the next day.  At that moment, I felt too tired and wanted to just stay home for a day and take a breath...and maybe do some laundry and housecleaning.  It has been a busy couple of weeks--but in a flash, I knew that playing games would be a perfect way to relax and unwind and it was!

Out their back porch

They had snow on the ground at their house up in Ogden Valley.  It was beautiful and peaceful!  And playing games, eating together, and just being together was heavenly.

Thanks, Vonette and Gary for being the best game partners!
