Back To Mission Life

...and a week of more goodbyes.  Sister Debra Dixon, Sister Joan Elder and Elder Mike Elder--all who were full-time missionaries and had served as zone leaders assistants since the first part of January all completed their mission the last week of October.  Sister Marianne Jones, another assistant and a church service missionary, was completing her mission at the end of October which only left us Elder Dinger of this second group of assistants.  We have so appreciated their work and insights as we serve the missionaries in our zone.

Elder Bruce and Sister Ann Collet, church service missionaries, also finished their mission after 3 1/3 years at the same time.

We with our assistants headed out for dinner together on Monday evening, October 24 at the Kokonut Hawaiian Grill:

Sister Dixon gave a beautiful devotional message on her last day.

Elder and Sister Collet, church service missionaries, also completed their mission that week.  How lucky we are that our lives have connected with all of these good people!

When you are the zone leaders, you get in a lot of goodbye pictures.

Then we snagged an invitation to the Asia/Pacific goodbye for Sister Dixon up in the upstairs lunchroom.  Fun group of staff!
Saying goodbye is never easy, but we try to make it fun!
