Amarillo Photo Shoot

Robin and Lynette, being our Amarillo specialists, found this sign for us to use.  We wanted to have something with a Texas-Amarillo flair to commemorate our partial roots as being form Amarillo.

View of the sign from the frontage road.....
And from the sign to the west---I-40 on the right side of the photo.  Notice the blue skies which "go forever!"
Waiting for everyone to arrive...

Somehow I missed singles of Mike and Robin....

It was perfect location ....except for the red fire ant pile in the dirt in front of the "a" and "r"---Mike and Robin took one for the team by being willing to stand there in our group shots.  I think they made it without any injury.  Bites by fire ants is no fun!

Just for fun----

Brothers taking pictures of sisters----

This was when Valerie, Lynette and I climbed up on the back of the sign....

Because Mike had done that earlier when Valerie was practicing her Hollywood pose....

So when are we going to do a similar photo shoot in Richland, Washington---and where????
The Agnes house, the Jadwin Chapel, the fingernail building?

These pictures have made it to the refrigerator:

And I also surprised my dad with a couple of them before my printer ran out of ink.

Fun times--both this weekend and all of the good memories from Amarillo!
