HWY 22 To Clarksville--Third Trip

We love these country roads and like to take the back roads to Institute in Clarksville because it avoids a a major traffic backup on the freeway where they are working on the bridge.

We caught some photos we had missed in our first trips--

These faces are painted on hay bales.

Each week different wildflowers appear along the sides of the roads...

yellow daisies

The purple flowers are also new...
A golf ball near the entrance of a country club, really out in the country.
Near the gate of a small trucking company....Christ is the answer, for sure.
Not sure what this sign represents.  Maybe someday I will find someone who knows.
We saw this amazing bell tower on our trip a month ago but I didn't get any good pictures of it.  This time we stopped and got a few shots of the bells.  We googled it later and found that it belonged to a vineyard although there were no signs of that around the grounds and the bell tower.

A few weeks ago, we got to Clarksville and none of our three students ended up coming.  So we had a quiet dinner and a nice drive back at sunset.  Things happen...and I was glad when the next day, I started running a fever and was sick for most of the next five days.
