#Seniorcoupleplusone

From Facebook:  (Saturday, December 19, 2020)

"Today all three of us are missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jena was set apart by her Bishop to serve as a Church Service missionary. She is assigned currently to serve three days a week at the Clearfield High School Seminary Building to aid the administrative assistant and to help with cleaning the desks between classes. She also works two mornings a week at the Centerville Distribution Center of the Church helping with stocking shelves and steaming clothes. She will serve in these sites until we all move to Salt Lake City when buildings and offices around Temple Square are opened again.#missionlife#seniorcoupleplusone"

Her missionary tags should be in the mail!

Jena offered a sweeet prayer over dinner tonight where she asked to be blessed as a new missionary. I am so happy that Jena has been willing and excited to serve with us as a missionary. A few years ago, when we first talked about her serving a mission with us, she said it would be embarrassing to go with your parents. However, when we approached her last December about it, she was excited from the beginning. None of us expected at the time that we would be serving from our home in Syracuse, but Jena has "rolled with the punches" and has been willing to do whatever was needed.
