Thursday--Universal Studio, one last time!

Thursday was our last day of our Orlando Vacation so I took some shots around our beautiful hotel.

And my breakfast for the last meal at the hotel--it had to be Mickey Mouse---
even the milk bore his picture.  And I loved filling my Disney mug each morning with good hot chocolate.  One of the simple pleasures of life!
And it was off to Universal Studios again--we had to be back to catch the Disney Express to the airport at 4:00 so we were trying to pack in as much fun as possible. This was also known as "The Day We Got Wet!"
We headed a different direction in the morning and walked through some of their Halloween decorated areas.
At night, all of these pumpkins glow---

This is the Night Bus from Harry Potter-
Scott would have loved to walk through the line of "Fast and Furious"--it had several very cool cars along the long waiting line---although we mostly walked the line as there were not many people when we came.
This was one of my favorite rides as it was a combination of ride and 4 D effects.  It was too short!
We headed back to Harry Potter Land so Gary and Gary could get Butter Beer and I could look for newborn outfits for the twins--no luck , but I did find a shirt for Jena which she loves.

Enjoying Butter Beer---no alcohol included.

After finishing the rides in Harry Potter land, we headed around Universal---this was Jurassic Park ride.
And we got wet (again this is not the actual boat we were in, but we watched them afterwards come down and splash.

Of course, this name happened to catch my eye as we walked by--no Carter so I didn't stop to buy them.
The details were amazing---
And I was thinking of the time we were here with our five kids in 2001---I think we took pictures under this cartoon captions then.
Yep, we rode on that and got wet as well.
 Name that cartoon----

At Unversal we had a express pass which allowed us to take the express line for each ride.  Notice Gary is supporting a US (Universal Studios hat).  He lost his old faithful Trapper Trail Hat at one of the rides.
Marvel Street

The Roller Coaster we didn't ride on this time--timing was ending at the Park and we weren't sure our old, wet bodies could take it!
And just like that, it was over.  Five days of Disney-Universal Fun--food, rides, shows, and fun sights and sounds--probably smells for those who enjoy that type of thing!  We said good-bye to Gary and Vonette who were staying until Sunday in Orlando, grabbed our backpack and headed for the shuttle.  Thanks, Vonette and Gary for sharing the parks and all of your experiences with us.  We had so much fun, mostly being with you and sharing time together....and the food...and the conversations....and the game playing!

By the time our flight took off at 7:40 pm, sun was setting in the west. This photo doesn't do justice to the gorgeous sunset filled with pinks, yellows, and oranges in lines across the horizon. We were heading west for #3 Mini-Vacation in New Mexico.
