The Evening at Scotts Bluff

Our first picture of a portion of Scotts Bluff to the north of where we camped that night.  It was nice to be camping with trees and grass rather than the asphalt of the casino parking lot of last night.

Before dinner, we took a walk around the city park that the campground was located in.

A bunny rabbit hopped across the trail in front of us...

Like many locations along this trip, wildflowers were in bloom along the path.  June is a great time to travel the plains as wildflowers of all kinds can bee seen.

A view of the campground towards the Scotts Bluff.

It had been a long and emotional day and it felt great to fall asleep in the comfort of our RV.  I continued to feel the "feelings" of my extended family as I camped in the shadows of the Scotts Bluff as they had so many years before.
