Grandbaby #5 slips into the world

the day before Valentine's Day which we think is a good thing---what boy wants to share his birthday with pinks and reds, hearts and roses!

We are so glad to have him here safe and sound and ready for life.  So far he has been a calm and peaceful baby but he is only a day old.

 Here are the three of them shortly after James arrived.

Scarlett spent the day with us and then we headed up to the hospital so that we could meet James. After a little while she finally decided that she wanted to "hold" him although she didn't really want to touch him yet.

We are glad you are here and can't wait for you to meet the rest of the family...

oh, how much fun you are going to have with your sister and your four boy cousins!!

Somehow I think you and Zander and Baby2 (maybe Cooper) Russell might have

been special friends in Heaven and got to travel parts of this journey we call life.

The adventure is just beginning.
