Happy Birthday---Happy Birthday---Happy Birthday!!

On June 30th (in America), we Halls gathered at the Dragon Hills Restaurant in Syracuse/Clearfield to celebrate Jessica's birthday (we haven't had a chance to all get together since her birthday in May), Tosha's birthday which is on June 30th, and my birthday on July 1st.  Restaurant eating isn't quite as relaxing with two little ones but it still was great to be together and enjoy Chinese food.

We sent this picture to Tosha to wish her Happy Birthday from all of us!

We then headed home and played for awhile......waiting and waiting for Jessica, Elessia and Liam to return from their errand.

Because TONIGHT was going to be the "Gender Reveal" event for the family.....

and it's a BOY!!!!  At least that is what the ultrasound place they had gone to that morning had said. They had found a half off coupon for gender ultrasounds for week 16 and above so they decided not to wait until July 20th to discover the sex.  It turned out to be a difficult process as Baby was not cooperating.  They finally had them leave and come back a few hours later to try again.  Even then it was not a clear shot but the tech said she was sure it was a boy.  Since the 20th is this week, stay tuned for any updates.

We are great with a boy and it was so exciting to see the blue smoke from the smoke bombs.  I also love their name currently chosen for a boy but that may change over the course of the next few months.

(By the way, those of you who are Facebook friends with Jessica may have noticed that they haven't yet announced the sex on Facebook.  They decided to wait until their appointment on Thursday.  So don't congratulation them about a boy until after they post on Facebook.)

We then headed back in to Facetime with Tosha and family to share the boy news and also shared the other BIG news of the day--

Scott and Chantel are expecting their second baby in mid-February! Yes, that means number 4 and 5 grandchildren are on their way.  How fun to have cousins near the same age as each other!  We are so blessed.
