A Quick Post It Note From Arkansas

As I was downloading pictures, I realized that I had not posted about the "Senior Missionary Tree" that I put up in our mission apartment in Ft. Smith.

I had a small magnetic board that I had pictures of the grandkids while we lived there.

Even when I first put it up, I had planned on making it a place for the pictures of all of the senior missionaries who had lived here--just like the young missionaries have in their apartments.  Almost at the last minute, I reached out to the prior couples from a list on a notebook in the apartment.  All of them responded quickly and I was able to create this board.  I included the scripture from D&C 123:17 that we and the Hathaways love (that we had given to all of the missionaries in our zone.)  Summers said that they will definitely add their picture to the board and that they loved seeing those who had served here before.

Elder and Sister Lamphear from Moses Lake, Washington although they are now living in Hermiston Oregon.
Elder and Sister Smith who are currently serving another YSA mission in San Diego.  They are from Sandy, Utah.
Elder and Sister Ritter from Boise, Idaho.
Us........
It was fun to have texting conversations with the Ritters (who we met) and the Lamphears and the Smiths actually called us on the phone to chat about Ft. Smith, a place they love, too.

Back to life in Utah.....
