Happy Easter 2024!!!

This Easter we attended Sacrament Meeting at the Ft. Smith 1st ward and then headed north to have dinner at the mission home with President and Sister Collins and some of the senior missionaries.

Jena did have a small Easter basket--not exactly sure when we will stop having an Easter basket for her--maybe never!

As usual, it was too much very yummy food and the best company!

Gremlichs made these darling bunny rolls that no one wanted to eat because they were so cute,  The break sticks were yummy, though.
No group shots, but we love these great missionaries and mission leaders and will miss them as many of them start heading home, including President and Sister Collins who leave at the end of June.  Changes are coming!

The timing is so odd--in 2022, when we were first scheduled to finish our mission in September of 2022, we also changed mission leaders in July...and we ended up staying another six months!  I am fairly confident that will not happen THIS time...knock on wood...but no knows.  Life and plans have a tricky way of interacting!

It was a fun Easter season to be studying Jesus and His Everlasting Gospel in Institute, reading the book Jesus the Christ which I finished a few days after Easter, dong the Easter Come Follow Me lesson in Clarksville, and preparing for General Conference the following weekend.  It was quite perfect and probably never to be repeated at quite that same level of intensity, although I should probably figure out how to do it without teaching Institute!  How grateful I am to our Savior for His life, His Atonement, and His resurrection for all of us!
