A Big Week of Celebrations---

On Sunday, Jena graduated from seminary....

On Monday she did her last night of her last play at Clearfield High School.  It was Tartuffe and she plays his servant Rose.  (Sorry, no pictures in costume.)  She wore a black dress with a white lace collar and her hair was in a big "sock" bun.

The set
On Tuesday was the last day of school......
Julie, Chelsea and Trina and Andrew Andreason
They have been the aides and her teacher in functional skills.
Jena will really miss them.  They are great.

Mr. Andreasen's classroom
She has a class every day here.
Last high school year book signing--3 hours later......she was still getting signatures and people are asking for hers.
She is there in the middle of a circle of drama friends.

Inclusion--this is one of the moments which matter!

Last day of high school picture
She has changed a lot since her first day of pre-school at Bluff Ridge
On Tuesday evening she skipped her great institute class to attend her last drama banquet.  She won two awards--The best actress in the ensemble for her role in "Tartuffe" and the "Sweetheart Award".  She was so lucky to have this group of kids and these experiences as part of her high school career.

On Wednesday, Jena graduated from high school.  We have always loved her classmates but it was impressive when they rattled off their accomplishments.  They earned almost $6 million in scholarships (the previous high was $3.5 million) and they raised almost $26,000 for their service project this year.  Jena had a great day........

And NIGHT--- The Senior Party!  Jena and I ended up staying until 3:00 a.m. at Boondocks--a fun center with bowling, go carts, mini golf, arcade games, etc.  She would hang out with different groups and had an awesome time. (I read a book and was ready to go to bed by 1:00.)

First adventure of the night!
And Jessica was in labor while we were eating dinner so I guess that you can guess what the next blog post is about!!!!
