Saturday Flag Day in Syracuse

Because Flag Day this year falls on a Sunday, the Scouts hung the flags on Saturday.  I had forgotten that and opened the garage last night to take out some recycling and found myself "trapped" in by about 95  flags.

We have them lay the flags like that so they can dry along the bottom.  The pipes where they are stuck in the ground often get filled with water and I am told it can be very stinky.
