Happy Birthday, Liam!! Number Seven!

Friday evening, we headed to The Rush to celebrate Liam's 7th birthday which was on Saturday.  Jena was a bit nervous about going to the Rush since it has been over 2 years since she last worked there--stopped by Covid.  She only saw one person she knew, but that woman was so excited to see Jena--there were hugs and tears and she even asked to take a picture of the three of us.  That was a sweet hello in a week of goodbyes.

The bowling area of The Rush had been completely redone and they have very fancy scoring programs.  We picked the birthday motif for our side.

Zander celebrating hitting pins.....
They liked watching Grandpa bowl.
LIam loved watching the scores and learned about spares and strikes.  He was very concerned when he first saw the X on grandpa's score.  In school, Xs aren't good.  So he was happy to learn that it was a good thing in bowling and meant that you knocked all the pins down with one ball.
Ezri was determined to be part of all of the action so took as many turns picking up a ball and pushing it down the lane as her siblings would allow.  She thinks she is as big as them at 18 months old.
Cupcakes at the park.....
Liam is very fun to give gifts, too, because he gets so excited about each one and is so expressive.  He loves the Cat Boy books and was so excited to get another one in that series...and I am excited to watch him love to read.
Carter loved the red cupcake she ate--maybe a little too much!
Zander....
Alex
It was a fun end to a busy week.

Liam is such a fun person.  He loves his siblings and is very creative in his play and including them in it.  He loves to read and learn and try new things except for food--he is pretty picky about that!

Happy birthday, Liam!  You really are seven now!
