Paris -Hotel Le Littre

Our hotel in Paris was lovely.  Our windows opened into the courtyard--they actually opened which is unusual in hotels these days.  It was nice to have a breeze and here the sounds of the city. The staff was so helpful and warm.  The rooms were tiny but they were spotlessly clean.  The location was excellent as well in the downtown area.

The courtyard---we were on the sixth floor.
Our shower had a window so you could watch TV and take a shower at the same time!

The morning view with the windows open---
The hotel had two elevators--a typical one and this one--an older model that had two doors.  A bit confusing if you don't know the system as the elevator door opens and all you see is the other door.  If you don't push it open fast, the elevator door closes and you are off to another floor.

The door--- on the outside
Gary demonstrating opening the door--
And there is the cute elevator--not made for very many people.

Streets around the hotel--
If we go to Paris again, I would stay here!
