All That Jazz

and Jimmer, too.  It is a fairly well-documented fact that I like BYU sports with football, volleyball and basketball being at the top of the list.  I am in general a BYU fan.

So when it was announced that Jimmer Fredette (a former start BYU basketball player who was playing in China) had signed a 10-game contract with the Phoenix Sun and they were playing the Jazz in Utah the following Monday, I thought it would be fun to attend the game.  I like the Jazz, but it is hard to follow them when we don't get the home games on TV.  I mentioned it to Gary and the next day, he said that we had tickets in the bottom bowl to watch the game.  (gift from Psion Homes who Gary does some work with.)

So here we were:

Jazz won which was exciting.  I learned the NBA games are very exciting in person and you can tell the upgrade in skill and talent.  Rudy Gobert was amazing and actually broke the NBA dunk record during the game and had an overall awesome game.

And Jimmer played....and it was the weirdest game to be in the home arena of the JAZZ but everyone cheering whenever Jimmer touched the ball.  He didn't play that great, but it was a odd but funny moment to share.  Lots of fans were in the arena in Jimmer or BYU shirts.  Well, we can say, we were there when it happened.
