Life In The "Big" CIty

 About 11:00 pm, I heard a series of emergency vehicles coming nearby and finally got out of bed to check out the window.....

Up and down our very street was a collection of police cars, two hook and ladder trucks, and other emergency vehicles.  The action was centered on the building directly east of ours, but I am assuming it was a big response for a medical emergency because they didn't have people leave the building!  It lasted about 30 minutes then they all left.  Grateful for those personnel working in the late evening in the cold to render aid to someone who needed it.
