One of the amazing experiences of this mission has been the opportunity to attend a variety of trainings, lectures, workshops, and discussions in the mission, in the Church History Library and also on the campus of Temple Square.
The last Wednesday of January Jena and I attended the Leadership Patters Training in the Tabernacle on Temple Square. It included Elder Gary Stephenson, Sister Tracy Browning, and Bishop Cause' of the Presiding Bishopric. It was covering a new revision of Communication Patterns Booklet. It was great and good reminders as we leave this mission and move to serve in another setting.

Side note: A fellow missionary shared that she had heard Elder Stevenson speak once at a stake conference and talked about using 3" by 5" cards to record impressions that came throughout the day. She said that during this presentation, she noticed that he took a 3" by 5" card out of his pocket and jotted a few things down. It reminded her of his talk so many years ago and re-reminded her of the importance of listening and recording those impressions as they come.
