Thursday evening, we headed out to catch the Trax to head down to the Smith's Ball Park to meet up with Tosha and Austen and family and Austen's parents. We got tickets for the field which I had never done before. It was actually perfect for the kids, because they could run around and there was a playground behind us that they played at. Of course, there was the usual food and ice cream to keep them happy, too.

That pole provided us shade for the first half of the game... we just kept moving up the hill to stay in the shade. |

And when there is a hill to roll down....
Don't ask how much this meal cost! But it was a good hot dog and French fries and the Utah Fry sauce.

While it was a different view from the field, in some ways it felt more intimate with the players--especially the out fielders and all of the kids loved the balls that got thrown back to them during warmups or after a catch.
In addition to the playground, there was a train which took the kids for a short loop around.

This game had a ton of hits, lots of runs and only one home run. Somewhat of a crazy game and unfortunately, the Bees lost.

It was so great to walk to the train to head home and avoid traffic.
Thanks, Tosha and Austen, for the baseball game and the company. It was great to see the game and share it with all of you!!! Let's do it again sometime.
