Jena and her class got to perform in the dance academy's end of year recital. It was held in the West Field High School up in Weber County. It is a brand new school and is very nice.
The recital was well done and we enjoyed all of the dances. Gary had to swing over between his two temple shifts so he was a bit over dressed for the event, but Jena loved having him there. They had a Super Mario Theme which made it fun.

Before the show started, we sat next to Diann who works at the Church History Library. It was fun to catch up and she loved watching Jena. Jena did a lot of small tasks for her like putting bar codes on bookmarks and other office tasks, She says she misses Jena doing those things for her.

Their studio has both a dance and ballroom dance programs so there are many more boys than you would normally see dancing and it was fun to see them dancing the formal ballroom style dances as well as the more common jazz and hip hop styles.
