Early Morning Breakfast At The Egg and Planter's Mr. Peanut

It was Elder Smythe's birthday last week, so we took he and his companion to breakfast and they chose The Egg of Ft. Smith.  The food was good and the servers were super friendly.  We will probably go again--mainly because I want to buy some mugs that say The Egg of Ft. Smith--a good memento of our time here.

Elder Hess and Elder Smythe
We had a few minutes after breakfast before our first apartment inspection so we headed across the street to the Planters Factory.  They don't give tours but they do have some things to take pictures of.

The factory is actually on Planter's Street which is what happens in smaller cities when you build a big factory and employ people.

One version of Mr. Peanut--the buggy one my brother Mike calls it.

The "real" one
And it is very tall!!  If I stood next to it I reached the top of his white shoes!
Oh, the things you will see....
