MLC Review

MLC stands for Mission Leadership Council...the Review stands for the instruction that the Sister Training Leaders and the Zone Leaders give the zone after they have met with the mission leadership council.  It is held on the first Monday of each month and the whole zone comes together for that meeting and to eat lunch afterwards.  These young leaders do an excellent job teaching and testifying to the other missionaries.  It is a joy to be with them and to be taught by them each month.  It is also fun to be with the other missionaries as it is the only time each month that the whole zone is together.

Gary--parking the "missionary way" to avoid backing up.
Lunch with the missionaries---oh, how we love being with them and even more than that we LOVE watching Jena being with the missionaries.  They are so natural and interactive with her and when it is her turn to read--the room is dead silent.  She who is usually smiling---has the biggest smiles when she is with the missionaries and the young adults.  I am not sure if she wants to ever go home.
We heard her when asked if we were doing another mission after this one, "Hopefully!"  That is not our plan, but you know me and plans....I try not to predict too far in the future about what we may or may not do.

The sunset that night was spectacular!
Unfortunately, the sunset out our window came before the missionaries came for dinner.  We had the elders and the sisters assigned to the YSA branch together for a meal.

We got a picture of the Jena/Jennas-----but I guess we didn't do all of us.  At least with my phone!
Sister Jena Hall and Sister Jenna Halle love sharing such similar names with each other.  Fun connections which will last forever, I am sure.
