Wednesday was a big day with transfer call about 7:00 am and then P-day. We got three new "greenies", one of our missionaries was made an AP (Assistant to the President)-Elder Campbell, we got two new missionaries to add to the YSA branch plus kept the sisters there as well; and both Clarksville missionaries got transferred and new missionaries were "shotgun" in. The best news (all of it was great and I am sure we will love all of these missionaries like we did the old ones) is that Elder Kutchinsky who served before in Ft. Smith YSA is back and down in Mena. He is so fun and kind and we are lucky to have him back and the missionaries tell us he is glad to be here, too. We will see him in person tomorrow.
They finally settled on doing P-day at the mini golf at the Creekmore Park. We got there at the end after getting lesson plans and other things done at home. They were just trying to take pictures by propping up phones on the golf hole.
Jena with the sister missionaries currently serving in the YSA.
We headed to the Church to say goodbye to the other missionaries who were there playing basketball and sending their weekly emails. Not goodbyes, but "see you later."
And life moves forward as a "seasoned senior missionary couple plus one." I am starting to think of life in transfer cycles like the young missionaries do.
