And wildflowers are coming to life again along my morning walks......
and along the country roads we love to travel.....

and another turtle was saved from being road kill....
I am not sure the turtles appreciate being picked up and moved to the grassy areas on the side of the road---but I think it is better than being smashed by a truck, right? I know that I am "interfering" in the cycle of life by protecting them--but trucks really aren't on the cycle of life diagram! The crows and other scavengers have plenty of road kill to feast on. They don't need a turtle!
