Intersection Between Mission and Institute

This past week was our Zoom Zone meetings which meant that on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, we had a meeting for one hour with the mission leaders, President and Sister Collins.  The day before, we found out our time had been switched from 9:00 am to 2:30---which actually allowed me to catch the last part on Tuesday as I got back from the funeral.

That zone meeting encouraged the missionaries to teach the members how to make positive and uplifting posts on their social media platforms and to encourage them to do so.

So at Institute that night, we had our four YSA missionaries make a group presentation to the class about social media posts.  It was fun to hear their enthusiasm to follow the council of their mission leaders.

Notice the orange tablecloths...Gary teases me about the tablecloths, but these tables are used every day for seminary and every week for a variety of other activities and it is impossible to get these old tables really clean so the tablecloths do the job...and orange are the same cost as the white ones and we use them 2-4 weeks.  There will be green and red ones in December!

We had breakfast for dinner this past week.  A breakfast casserole that I made Monday afternoon, muffins, fruit, and chocolate milk and orange juice.  We also had cereal for those who wanted some, but I don't think anyone ended up taking some.  It was a hit so we will do it again sometime.
