Signs Of Our Own Release

In the midst of missionaries leaving at the end of January and training the Yeamans as zone leaders, we have had reminders that we too are going to actually be released after 28 months of service.

We received our "exit packet" for preparing our apartment when we leave and also an invitation to the "Departing Missionaries Luncheon" in a couple of weeks.
Four of our missionaries from the Europe/Middle East/Africa team got together and bought us this amazing bronzed statute entitled "Eternal Companions."  Hard to tell in the picture but he is carrying a set of scriptures and she has a bag over her shoulder.
The card was drawn by one of the missionaries who is an artist--Elder Steve Petersen.
And I happened to catch this view of Gary teaching the Yeamans how to get a day pass for their new missionary. (View is from the second floor windows into the lobby of the library.)
I have the best companion in the mission!  What a blessing to serve with such a hardworking and dedicated spouse!
