Happy Mother's Day In Arkansas

Mother's Day turned out good despite being far from our kids and grandkids.  I heard from all of my kids in the morning, got some great gifts from them and from Gary and Jena.

Jena made me this card.

We attended the Ft. Smith 1st ward, because I wanted to hear the Primary kids sing Mother's day songs.  (It turned out to be a good thing because during that Church we got a text saying the YSA branch had been cancelled to allow the YSA to be with their families.)

Then for dinner, we had all eight of the Ft. Smith's missionaries for dinner.  That was fun.  Gary told them that they were stand-ins for our grandchildren.

We love these great missionaries.  They are kind and very hard-working.

Elder Phillips, Elder Kutchinsky, Elder Burns, Elder Gannon
Sister Malpica, Sister Fleming, Sister Halladay, Sister Cowley
Side note: So glad that we got this picture of them.  Five of the eight of them were transferred last Friday (June 2).  We will miss them but know we will love the new missionaries as well.
