Disney World and Universal Studios-Second of Our Three Mini-vacations

So with the babies safely here, Jessica doing well, and the Back-up plan engaged in Syracuse, we headed back to the airport to meet up with Vonette and Gary and to begin our truly Magical vacation in the magical kingdoms of Disney World, Universal Studios plus Harry Potter Land.  It was a full service trip starting with the Disney Express Shuttle from the airport to the Walt Disney World resort where we stayed at Port Orleans-French Quarters.

We were on the top floor overlooking the river that winds around the property.

After getting settled, we caught the ferry from the resort down to Disney Springs for dinner at the T-Rex restaurant.  While waiting for our table, we enjoyed the sights and sounds of Disney, including a Dragon made from Legos in the Lagoon.
Toy Story characters also made from Legos....
Our T-Rex restaurant--the inside was filled with dinosaurs who would move and roar from time to time.  I had a BBQ sandwich which was amazing with the coleslaw in the sandwich itself--very tasty.
Inside the restaurant, one section was devoted to under the sea--
This was the section we sat in which was the Arctic section of the Prehistoric times--

At the Lego store, kids could build cars with Legos and then race them down these tracks--their version of a Pinewood Derby race.
We are actually here in the mecca of Disney World--without kids!
Nighttime shot of the dragon.
From the beach to Port Orleans, it had been a busy day and we were glad to climb in our bed that night.  Turned out that every night we were glad to get to bed--our days were filled with activities of all kinds (and we discovered that we are not as young as the last time we were here--which was 17 years ago for Gary and I)
