We had an interesting span of Church attendance and it just reminded me how blessed I am to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We knew that we would be able to be taught and feel the spirit and to partake of the sacrament each Sunday no matter where we were.
It went like this:
In our home ward in February |
February 19: Last Sunday in the Mission Branch of the Utah Salt Lake City Headquarters Mission in the chapel in the beautiful Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
February 26: Attended our home ward-Barber Acres in Syracuse, Utah. This was the Sunday we spoke in Church.
March 5: Attended Church with my niece, Lisa and her family plus my sisters, Robin and Lynette and my brother, Rick in Gilbert, Arizona.
March 12: Attended Church in Oro Valley, Arizona.
March 19: Attended Church in Lakewood, Washington.
March 26: Attended Syracuse South Stake Conference--watching from our rental on Zoom due to the terrible snow storm making traveling dangerous to the Ogden Utah Tabernacle.
April 2: General Conference which we watched on our laptop at the MTC in Provo
April 9: Easter where we attended Church in a small branch in Burlington, Colorado
Burlington Chapel |
April 16: Attended the Ft. Smith YSA branch where we are assigned.
As a bonus, on April 23 we also attended Church in Clarksville, AR ward to hear a couple of our YSA members sing in their sacrament meeting before heading back to attend (and speak) in the YSA branch.

If I had figured this out beforehand, I would have taken pictures in front of each Chapel. It was so amazing to experience worship in so many different places and ways (with Stake and General Conferences in the mix.) We only attended our home ward once which was sad but the way things worked out.
How I loved it--to meet new Saints, to hear talks and musical numbers and to sing with the congregations! And in each place--whether big or small, to partake of the Sacrament in the way that has been ordinated by Christ in remembrance of Him and His Atonement! It is unlikely we will ever attend 9 different meetings in 9 different places in 9 straight weeks again in our life time--but it was amazing and reminded me how lucky I am--truly blessed to be numbered with the Saints.
