We have to keep two bulletin boards organized. The top one is the names of all of the staff and names and pictures of each of the missionaries in the area where they are serving. We currently have 80 missionaries in our zone.
The other board is where we place flyers for upcoming events and our monthly newsletter. December's newsletter was a long one as we included pictures from our Christmas social.
We also got lanyards for our zone. The 1st floor zone have dark green lanyards which they earn after finishing some classes (they give the tours on the main floor of the library.) We thought it would be nice for our missionaries to have something similar so we got permission to order some for our zone and they arrived while we were in Texas. So we were busy passing them out the week before Christmas and will still be passing them out over the next week or so.
They are a bright color--hopefully won't be easy to lose. It is fun to walk around the Church History Library and see these flashes of blue on our missionaries. The third zone in the Library is also going to order some for their zone--I think they are choosing a red.
