Back when we were still in Arkansas, Jessica asked me to reserve this weekend to watch their kids. She bought tickets for the two of them to see Wicked in Boise, ID for the weekend. They had fun and we had fun as well.
The three middle kids all had birthday parties from 1:00 to 3:00, so that left Liam and Ezri and I as taxi service for the afternoon. We dropped everyone off then headed to Artic Circle for our own ice cream party and then headed to a park along the Weber River. It was a fun place and Liam wanted me to make sure to send the address to his Moms so that they could take them again sometime.
After all the parties, we headed home for a bit and played with the girls' hair.
Sunday morning, they all drew welcome home hearts from their moms and put them on their bedroom door to surprise them. The boys did not want to be in the photo with the door.
It was a fun weekend and I even got to read my book each night after they went to bed....just a bit later than their usual bedtimes! We read a lot of books.
Now if only they didn't get up so early. :) I loved it and I am so glad to be close enough to do it from time to time.
